Mafia Wars is one of the most popular games on Facebook right now with over 25 million active users The point of the game is to build up your own mafia crime family and earn enough cash to dominate other rival mafia in the game. You start out by doing various small time jobs like muggings, and corner store holdups which earn you money and experience.

As you level up, you can increase your skills points and customize your mobster as you see fit. Once you reach level 5 you can start fighting other players (mafia) in the game. Make sure to invest your money to buy more powerful weapons which will allow you to defend yourself against other players.

Mafia Wars is a pretty open ended game, and there are many different strategies for succeeding in Mafia Wars. Here are some of my favorite tips for beginning players.

1) Build up your Mafia by recruiting your friends and joining the Mafia Wars Groups on Facebook.

2) Having a strong defense is essential to thwart any attacks. Make sure to equip yourself with the bullet proof vest as soon as you can.

3) Make sure to master all the jobs in a level to earn the exclusive bonuses.

4) Don’t forget to deposit any extra money in the bank so it doesn’t get stolen.

5) Invest in the energy skill early on. This allows you to level up faster, gain skill points and unlock more bonuses.

By following these simple strategies, you can create a more powerful mafia family that will be able to reach the higher levels of the game. Remember that having a big mafia family is really important, so don’t be afraid to try and recruit your friends to join you. It’s easy to do on Facebook as you can send requests to all your friends directly within the game.
